The OrthodoxChristianMissionCenter sends missionaries to preach, teach baptize and to minister to the poor hungry sick, suffering and orphaned.Our mandate is the same one that Christ gave his Disciples before he ascended into heaven, to go “and make disciples of all nations.”
OCMC Missionaries serve in a variety of capacities, but all with the same goal, to help the Church grow around the world.Missionaries have served as priests, theologians, teachers, medical personnel, building professionals and youth leaders, among many other things.They have served in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, Albania, Romania, Slovakia, India, Hong Kong and Korea.Learn more about what OCMC Missionaries do by reading through their biographies and newsletters on their individual sections on this website.

Don’t think you are called, but you want to help?
Even if you don’t feel called to leave your home and go serve the Lord in the mission field, you are still called to participate!You can support our missionaries by making a donation towards their mission service, by praying for them regularly or by encouraging them through letters or e-mail.
It takes several thousand dollars each year to support one long-term missionary, depending on his or her needs. This includes a small salary, housing allowance, health benefits, travel and other expenses. Missionaries are normally expected to raise funds for their missionary work.
