OCMC Announcement - Coming Soon! “A Journey of Faith” a New Video from the OCMC

We are very excited to announce the release of the new OCMC video “A Journey of Faith” on Monday, February 18^th. This 17-minute presentation, made possible by a grant from the Farah Foundation and the Cottonwood Foundation, highlights the impact the faithful of North America have had through missions on the Turkana people of Northern Kenya. In this video you will see growing Orthodox communities, people hungry to learn the Faith, and a mass baptism of dozens newly illumined. A copy of this video is being sent to all OCMC Ambassadors and parishes that are on our mailing list. The video will also be available online on the 18^th at YouTube and through a newly redesigned Web site at www.ocmc.org. We will be sending a direct link out on the 18^th as well. We hope that you take the time to watch this video and to pray for our new Turkana brothers and sisters.

Prayer for Missions

God of truth and love: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Hear our prayer for those who do not know You. That they may come to a saving knowledge of the truth, and that Your Name may be praised among all peoples of the world. Sustain, inspire, and enlighten Your servants who bring them the Gospel. Bring fresh vigor to wavering faith; sustain our faith when it is still fragile. Continually renew missionary zeal in ourselves and in the Church, and raise up new missionaries who will follow You to the ends of the world. Make us witnesses to Your goodness full of love, full of strength, and full of faith for Your glory and the salvation of the entire world. Through the prayers of all the missionary saints, Have mercy on us and save us. Amen.
