Missionaries
We train and send missionaries to engage effectively with the Churches, ministries, and communities they serve –– nurturing a faithful understanding of the Gospel that transcends cultural barriers. By equipping them with resources and tools they need, we ensure that the light of Orthodoxy is not only shared, but is also deeply understood and lived.

Grants
Guided by our Grants Department, our global projects strengthen local Orthodox Churches to address the needs of communities they serve. From training future clergy and lay leaders and promoting evangelism and catechetical initiatives, to providing income-generating projects and caring for the needs of the people, we are deeply committed to holistic ministry.

TRANSLATIONS
A main component of establishing a vibrant Church is having services, music, and theological literature adapted to the local language(s) and culture. Our team does not create translations, but instead achieves its Liturgical Translation goals by developing free products and services for national translators in Orthodox Christian archdioceses and metropolises in the countries we serve.
DOXA
DOXA (Digital Orthodox Akolouthia) is a suite of technical software tools that supports the translation of Orthodox liturgical texts into clear, accurate, and beautiful language that speaks to the faithful. It enables translators to study original Greek texts, compare translations, and develop translation strategies. Future updates will contain more tools for translators. DOXA also enables Churches to publish approved content such as dynamic daily services, static service books, or print-ready PDFs, all available on liturgical websites which can be viewed on a browser or on the DOXA mobile app. If you would like more information on the software or to support its development, please email Translations@ocmc.org.

Mission Priests (SAMP)
Orthodox mission priests work tirelessly in the apostolic tradition to share the message of Christ’s love. Their role is pivotal as spiritual leaders of their communities, balancing this calling while ministering to their families. Currently extending vital resources through the local Church to 468 clergy across 22 countries, The Support a Mission Priest program enables them to devote more of their lives to spreading the Faith.
