Korean Orthodox Editions, a project focused on the translation and publication of Orthodox texts, provides culturally resonant theological resources, contributing to the establishment of a strong local Church in South Korea.
In February 2024, with the support of an Orthodox Christian Mission Center grant, the staff and their collaborators were able to start editing several previously translated books. One of them — “On Prayer,” a collection of sermons by St. John Chrysostom — was published in April that same year, and has been selling well within, and outside of, the Orthodox community ever since.
Additionally, the grant has enabled the group to acquire various patristic texts, which will serve as reference material for their ongoing translation and publication projects. With more titles set for release — including the Divine Liturgy and a prayer book — this work continues to foster and spread the Orthodox Faith throughout South Korea.
Through their work, Korean Orthodox Editions is making the Gospel accessible in the local language, ensuring that the word of God has broad reach.
