Ghana Catechist Trainer

 

Summary of Field Needs:

The Archdiocese of Accra is beginning a one-year catechist training program, with a focus on instructing lay leaders who will serve as catechists through twice-monthly classes culminating in a one-week seminar.

Graduates of the program will then be sent to serve as catechists in parishes throughout Ghana. Missionaries with theological training are needed to assist in this new program, both teaching and further developing its curriculum. In addition to theological education, the ideal candidate would also have experience with classroom teaching. 

Length of Assignment: 2 years; may renew.

Reports to: Metropolitan DANIEL of Accra.
