IOTA Talk: The Mission - Critical Task of the Church

By almost every conceivable metric the church in Europe and North America is failing. Relatively little attention is given by Christians to the root causes of this failure and the actions the church should take to respond. This talk will argue that the primary reason for failure is inattention to the task of making disciples. It will present a vision and a strategy for fostering healthy local Eucharistic communities which are the best place for Christian formation. The church must focus its energy on its mission-critical task which is fostering healthy local Eucharistic communities where disciples will flourish.
