Kenya Catechist Trainer

 

Summary of Field Needs:

The Diocese of Eldoret has recently initiated a year-long catechist training program, instructing lay leaders who will serve as catechists through classes twice a month and culminating with a 1-week seminar. Graduates of the program would then be sent to serve as catechism leaders in parishes. Missionaries are needed to assist with this program through teaching in the program and further developing its curriculum, with the goal of growing the program to train more catechists moving forward. An ideal missionary candidate would have theological training, experience in creating curricula, and classroom instruction. 

Length of Assignment: 2 years; may renew.

Reports to: Bishop NEOFITOS of Eldoret and Northern Kenya.
