Project Mexico - Agriculture/Groundskeeping
Summary of Field Needs:
Project Mexico/St. Innocent Orphanage is situated on a 16-acre ranch which requires a great deal of landscaping and upkeep of the irrigation systems for the property. Individuals with knowledge of agriculture, who can maintain the existing landscaping and irrigation systems, and who can work on new projects to beautify the ranch, are in great need! Spanish language learning is necessary if not already fluent.
Length of Assignment: Minimum 1 year, preferred 2 years. May renew.
Reports to: Fr. Nicholas Andruchow, Director of Project Mexico/St. Innocent Orphanage.
Demographic Notes: Since 1988, Project Mexico has been building safe, secure and weather-tight homes for some of the most impoverished families in Northern Mexico. The associated St. Innocent Orphanage is located near Rosarito, Mexico, on a beautiful 16-acre ranch and was founded in 1996 by Greg Yova to provide a home for orphaned teenage boys. In 2024, the efforts of Project Mexico & St. Innocent Orphanage were expanded when the Casa Cuna San Felipe Infant Orphanage was opened.
